Lot 34 Redevelopment Plan

Stillwater, Oklahoma

The City of Stillwater owns two under utilized, yet significant, blocks in Downtown Stillwater given their location 1 block east of the thriving Main Street and 5 blocks from the campus of Oklahoma State University. These two blocks represent the community dynamics of old and new. One block is vacant and ripe for development of the only downtown hotel and a new mixed-use project, while the other block has a historic Junior High School and Auditorium which have been used by the Stillwater community for grassroots performing arts, training classes and other community programs.

The consultant team of ADG, Pegasus Planning and Development, and PDG were hired to help the City determine the highest and best use of these two sites. After a 6-month process involving intense community engagement, market analysis, and urban design, the consultants offered a strategy for the redevelopment of the two blocks.
