The Tulsa Met Cares secular nonprofit foundation hired PDG to design a mixed-use, walkable master plan centered around a new charter elementary school. The school and community center will serve as a co-working, meeting, and gathering space for the larger community.

The master plan is envisioned to have a mixed-use commercial core, a mix of medium- to high-density housing options with an emphasis on affordability, and a series of collective parks, open spaces, and community gardens connected via a network of trails and sidewalks.

The Met Cares Foundation, in partnership with the Walton Foundation, is working with PDG for final master planning, creation of the Planned Unit Development (PUD) rezoning standards, and Phase 1 buildout of the elementary charter school.
