The city of Bixby approached PDG with an idea of a grand sports complex that would attract regional tournaments and provide a premium practice and game facility for the youth of the community. The selected site is adjacent to the Arkansas River, providing an excellent backdrop for the park.

Working closely with the city and Parks Board of Bixby, PDG was able to develop an overall Master Plan illustrating potential elements of the sports complex: baseball and softball fields, soccer field expansion, a super-regional playground, sectional parking for these areas, and a large storm water detention facility can assist with water runoff during storms.
